    Great for coverage

Highly recommended as an after-market modem/router. It has more features, with a simple mode and expert mode on the portal. The 2G and 5G coverage are both good. For USB disk sharing, note that the router only supports SMB1 which is insecure, so it's not advisable to use this router as a NAS. I use a dedicated NAS for this, which I can then attach to this router.

    Expensive and didn't work!

Bought this to replace the standard router supplied by Plusnet hoping it would give better results in wireless connectivity in a problematic house. It didn't, in fact it performed much worse. Despite many attempts to re-configure its functions, I couldn't get wireless in parts of the house where I'd had it before with the bog-standard router. After nearly a week of trying, I finally re-installed the Plusnet router and installed some Wi-Fi extenders at various locations throughout the house. That worked, and, at a fraction of the cost of the TP Link (all singing, all dancing) kit! More expensive does not always mean better. I've returned it to the vendor.

  • Perfect ADSL Router For TalkTalk

Great reliable router! Using this with TalkTalk and the setup is so ridiculous easy. Router comes with loads of additional features should you need them like VPN, IPTV as well as the dual band. This router is also paired with TP Link powerlines which, as expected, work perfectly well together. It's all about value for money - managed to get a good deal on eBay which made this a great purchase!

  • Easy set up

Bought to replace a sky q router, so easy to set up and seems to be able to cope with the large bandwidth requirements, the only down side of it is the sky diagnostic will not work due to it not recognising the router, far better than the standard sky q router with many more features than the sky router.

  • Great modem/router

For 10 years I’ve had a separate modem and router (without aerials) supplied by my broadband provider, Plusnet. It’s been ok, but the Wi-Fi signal was fairly weak and dropped out occasionally. I decided to get a new combined modem/router and this one seemed to tick all the boxes. When it arrived it was easy to set up and gives me a much stronger and more stable Wi-Fi and broadband connection. 10 / 10 ❤️😃

  • Simply the best DSL router !

This is the best DSL router I have ever used. Actually, I have two of it running in my home. Simply the best. It takes about 2 mins to setup. Again, if you are in the UK and in search of a DSL router, look no further, get a tplink ac2800 (VR2800).

  • TP link VR2800

It is very easy to install the mobile app is great. With this router you get full control with your internet access. It will not be as good as Mesh Wifi but still be better than stock Wireless router from your ISP. And it is import to know this is to replace your ADSL ( telephone line) router.

  • Amazing !!!

I bought this to replace an ISP router. There are loads of settings to individualise your use. The speeds are impressive and the range is pretty good as well. As regards the set up, it was just straightforward, no problems.
