Much better than buying a new turbo
My Passat went into limp mode and It logged the dreaded “over boost pressure “. I got the fault at least once per week and I was coming to terms with buying a new turbo. A friend suggested turbo cleaner so I searched Ebay and found this product. With fairy low expectations I ordered it as I thought it was worth a try. Yes it took a couple of hours to clean the turbo in situ but boy was it worth it. The instructions were good and to my surprise it has worked a treat. Done over 1000 miles since cleaning the turbo with no faults 👍 Furthermore, the car is much more responsive which is an added bonus. I am sure it will not sort everyone’s turbo problems, however I wonder how many people can been conned into buying a new turbo when a clean out was all that was needed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

easy to follow the application process
It solved my problem where the turbo was only going into limp mode at irregular intervals. This seemed to be in the very early stages of the issue. After using the cleaner it seems I have a new engine as the performance has increased dramatically and acceleration is fantastic. This is on a 1.9tdi VW engine having done 98000 miles. Close, but no cigar!
My 54 plate Golf 1.9 TDi is spending too much time in limp mode, and we suspected that the turbo might be clogged up. I ordered this cleaner, which once used seemed to have cleaned the turbo out judging from the amout of soot that came from the exhaust afterwards! But my problem hasn't gone away. Still, it was well worth the try for £33 - no harm done, and still better than just fitting a new turbo, which also wouldn't have solved the problem!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very Expensive - Poor instructions
Have used this twice, it's very expensive and it doesn't really work because you need to get it into the ENGINE side of the turbo not the exhaust side as stated in the instructions. The accumulated soot is all on the engine side so just squirting into the exhaust port won't really do much.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
