nice unit and lightweight
this radio seems to work on the AM band for the ABC channels, but 1323 (Cruise) seems be poor reception, as this is a local station, i am surprised. FM appears to be fine, but i never listen to FM normally as it is just rubbish. The service from Lenox has been very good. no problems there.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Rubbish
This is the second radio that I bought to replace the first one. Both radios have the same problem. The tuning dial sticks and can only pick up 1 channel. Total waste of money. After you sent a replacement the same thing has happened. The dial wont turn and can only receive 1 station. TERRIBLE RADIO NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Not impressed

Assembly quality control issues.
The assembly quality control is poor. I have two radios, one came without the frequency display and the other had to be opened up to adjust cogs positioning so that the tuning mechanism would move across its full range. Do Not Buy!!.
This radio was a dud. Wouldn;t work very well if at all on 240volt and the sound was bad on batteries with an annoying back ground noise. I do not think it was a "Super Radio". Perhaps I received a faulty one but if you read the review of it I was not the only one who had trouble with this machine. Big brassy retro radio with powerful antenna
A big chunk of retro plastic with 1970's styling. The speaker is loud and easy to listen to with powerful treble and good mid-range but the kind of bass you would expect from a single plastic speaker. The sound is very clean otherwise The switches and dials are very basic and feel like they are glued on. The control is chunky but works well. There is one LED on the whole system and it is just a power light. The dial is basic and without light. The channels are easy to find. The antenna is huge for a portable unit and works very well. The spot I am using this in has had a dozen other radios. This radio is the most sensitive by a long way and doesn't struggle with any of the channels I normally use. In the past I have been forced to use the external TV antenna but this picks up better. The USB works well. I havent used batteries or any other cardsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as good as they make out
I thought that by buying this radio, I would receive better reception of 774 ABC on the AM channel, but it was not to be. the reception is just as lousy on the Lenoxx radio as it is on the Panasonic radio I already have. I wouldn't waste my money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
