Did the job, but despite being cheapest, still not good value, and needed rework.
The handle broke on my original throttle, so I though it would be a simple replacement. The description says to check this fits my mower, so I did, cross checking as many ways against part numbers on the Mountfield site, checking the model number and year of manufacture etc. I was confident I had the right part, but still, the cable was about an inch too short. I managed to rescue this by swapping the old cable onto the new handle. This proved that the whole part is a bit of a rip off; rather than being able to replace just the lever (which is about 50p worth of plastic moulding, so I'd expect to pay a fiver, I had to spend 20 quid for the whole assembly (that as an assembly, didn't fit).

Cable too short
Fitting this the new cable was too short but as this was not why I bought this item so used the original cable , the throttle lever was the replacement item needed to repair original broken. Why the different length is a mystery as this was selected for this type of mower.

Unit is ok for but too short for SP533 mower
As others have commented the cable is too short for my SP533. However as I only needed the plastic control handle I utilised my old cable to make it fit

Mountfield throttle cable.
The Throttle cable although specified for an SP533 was at least an inch short. Had to use the old cable with the new throttle box to get over the problem of a broken plastic throttle regulator.
