Based on the 1980's series starring David Hasselhoff, KNIGHT RIDER follows the adventures of Mike Traceur (Justin Bruening), the estranged son of the original series' main character Michael Knight. After inadvertently becoming involved in the top secret work of his father - whom he never knew - Mike finds that his tremendous expertise as a soldier just happens to make him the perfect candidate to become the new Knight Rider: the driver of a super enhanced car with tremendous intelligence known as KITT (voiced by Val Kilmer). Now, tasked with tracking down mercenaries, busting top secret drug rings, and tracking down powerful people, Mike finds himself behind the wheel of a life he never even knew existed though his biggest challenge might be reigning in his cowboy attitude. Features the complete first series of the show.

Great series, with improved stories it could have gone beyond 1 season.
DVD in great condition, all characters engaging action is good for a series, new KITT 3K is a definate improvement in tech; but may be not so much in personality. Issue with whole series was that all that could be said and done in original knight rider was done so; so this series just kind of run out of ideas. But this is single-season DVD is definately worth purchasing at a lower price - it certainly peaked my interest in Supercars to the point that I started purchasing Maisto 1/18 scale die cast models.

After growing up in the 80’s & being a big fan of The Hoff with the original Knight Rider & Baywatch I really enjoyed this more up to date version. I can’t believe there’s no Season 2. Highly recommend

A modern re tell
The pilot episode of this modern redo has the hoff himself in a small role as Michael knight. Bringing a new car in was inevitable a mustang was the simple choice. If you are a fan of the original then you will not be disappointed.
