BlackBeauty, truley a real beauty.
I've waited for many, many years to get a die-cast of this car. The model is beautiful, finely packaged and detailed to a very high standard. Priced reasonably, finished in a high gloss paint. One of the best quality cars in my collection for certain. If I were to have done the car the headlights would rotate like the original car, the rocket doors would close including the tracker in the trunk along with retracting the brushes on the rear wheels. Also the Green screen for Kato does not come down. I think that should also work. I did notice that in the rear, the control panel for all the gizmos wasn't there. That needed to be in place as well. Overall, as I mentioned it is a fantastic car and will bring me years of pleasure. Kudos to the maker.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Weapons will not stow.
The weaponry and features on this Black Beauty DO NOT STOW. They are forever deployed and extended. So that this 1:18 scale car will not ever fit in a 1:18 display case. The gear should have been made to stow. it makes me not want this car.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Black Beauty is a beauty.
The details on this model is to be commended. Perfect detailing throughout exterior and interior. The interior does lack some 'Black Beauty' features, like phones, but the quality of refinement makes up for any shortcomings. I only wish the car's engine had been modified as a 'super engine' but was only standard looking. Still, the craftsmanship is superb. Really love this Black Beauty model!

Fantastic Black Beauty
This long, wide four door solid black car is amazing. All panels, front, rear and trunk are open. I prefer them closed. The missiles and open panel doors are all one piece per corner. They ar easy to remove and the separated doors fit perfectly in the openings. The open panel in the grill was a little difficult to pull out but it did come out. The grill door, separated from the gun part fit perfectly. The only doors that didn't are on the trunk. This car with all weapons doors shut is again, amazing. The size of it, nearly 13" long, the sleek overall posture of it is incredible. It looks great sitting next to the Best of Show 1965 black Imperial.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Two words: Get one!
AutoArt is known for highly detailed, quality replicas. The Black Beauty is no exception. The finish is flawless and it is a solidly built model. The doors open and close smoothly and feel sturdy, not tinny. Interior detail is very good as is the completely duplicated engine under the opening hood. One can almost imagine Van Williams and Bruce Lee gliding through the dark city streets in this car. The only improvement I could think of would be for the panels that conceal the headlights, gas jet nozzles, rockets, rear wheel brooms and remote controlled drone to be hinged rather than fixed open. As it is, though, this model is very impressive and would make an excellent addition to the collection of any fan of the Green Hornet, any collector of TV and movie cars, any fan of Chrysler products or any fan of replicas in general.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

OVER ALL THE BODY LOOKS MORE LIKE 1/16 SCALE, NOT 1/18 AS THEY CLAIM. THE PHOTO-ETCHED GRILL HAS SMALLER HORIZONTAL BARS THE THE REST (AND ALL THE BARS SHOULD BE THE SAME SIZE). THE TIRES ARE EXTREMELY OVER SIZED. THE BROOM SWEEPS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE TO RETRACT. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE ALL THE GADGET FLAPS & ROCKET DOORS TO HAVE BEEN RETRACTABLE. Nicer than expected
The Green Hornet was my favorite show as a kid. I loved the Black Beauty from the show. There have been several issues of this car over the decades, but not in 1/18 scale. This 1/18 scale model is fantastic. It came securely packed in molded Styrofoam. I was afraid to touch it. Paint was perfect and spotless. Autoart did a great job. If you're a Green Hornet fan, you will like this. One tiny drawback, and I'm not complaining, but all of the gadgets stay in a stationary position. They do not retract. Do your research.

Awesome collectible
