Top kit, top price!
This is an excellent bit of kit that has replaced an old Bluetooth radio that has literally fallen to pieces. This is very easy to set up and use, has a great sound, wonderful bass and runs on my DeWalt XR batteries, so what's not to like? A little on the expensive side.
There is no aerial point so limited radio in basements although easy to connect via Bluetooth shame it is not IP65. Fantastic and lockable in the dewalt stack. Sounds great from the 4 speakers. It also charges mobile and a dewalt battery but needs to be plugged in to a 240v socket which is limiting on site work but will use battery. Generally it is easy to use to keep your sanity with your favourite sounds, beets listening to a droning workmate 😉. Overall quite bulky. Looks good. Sounds great. Bit expensive against the market competition. Slow at charging battery but must be plugged into a mains higher than 5" from surface or floor due to charger input. Works well only with toughsystem boxes only. Could have also been given an auxillary outputs for speakers for the fixed stays like I have a large multi-room basement where it will reside! Hence 4 out of 5. To get a 5 from me means they have pulled all the stops but I think it is a weak 4 not an excellent 4! They need to address the little niggles I have presented here. To go all out should have had two battery charge points. Could have a bit more protection space for those larger screens/pads/mobiles. Great Radio.
I was looking for a durable radio with DAB and Bluetooth connectivity. Looked at a few. This one has a great sound, easy to set up. Has a nice storage area for my phone and has a usb connection so it can be charging while it is playing music. Pretty cool piece of kit. Sounds Great
First of all - yes its pricey so at first I was hesitant in buying it, now I have it I'm well happy. The sound is great, build quality is great, charging 18v 4ah battery takes longer than 2hrs easy that's the down side. It has a wall adapter I think its 10 or 12volts that plugs into radio which Dewalt should have it built into the radio its self, this is why the battery takes longer to charge - lower voltage coming into radio. The price will drop but but how long does one want to wait ? all i can say is its a good buy for your tunes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wow just wow
I work in a very noisy work place that I need ear defenders, this radio defies it the bass is awesome sound quality is outstanding. I use a 5ah battery it lasts all day with volume high. It’s heavy but it’s built well and a lot of rubber protection around it.

Dewalt DAB toughsystem radio
Absolute brilliant radio. Reception is amazing on both DAB and FM. Radio can charge your battery when plugged into the socket while playing your favourite station, or you can just play radio from battery. Charge your phone and keep it clean and dry.
