Odd but Entertaining!
Think of 1970's police series and names like The Sweeny and Starsky and Hutch come to mind. Murder Most English is it in the same mould, forget car chases this more like Miss Marple and Poiret in feel, but, there is very little character development and we learn little of the private lives of tweedy Anton Rodgers and his (pre-Herriot) side kick Christopher Timothy. Enjoyable but a definate oddity - one of those DVD's that make you wonder who chooses what series is released and which aren't, but there are worse ways to spend an afternoon.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
