ATV Thriller, you are always entertaining
Although some of the characters are a little engaging, not all of them exactly are, and this box-set contains rather a lot of episodes, of this wonderful 1970s thriller series, the intro music is amazing to hear, the colorful fashion clothing of the era is really nice to look at, in all of these episodes, some of the old house portrayals are lovely, such as in:- possession, someone at the top of the stairs, a place to die, sign once for death, a killer in every corner, to name just a few, the actress ((donna mills)) is very nice to see, with her wonderful wardrobe of lovely clothes, in both someone at the top of the stairs, and one deadly owner, a favorite of my own, with the most wonderful lovely car, which on occasion, drives itself, opens its' own doors, you could ever wish to see as a star, in it. The extra small bit of info, at the end of each one, which is really like an introduction to the story, yet is at the end, is also very entertaining, also, the interview with the creator of atv thriller, as a part of the extras' packaged, is interesting, wondered what this gentleman would be like, creating such a delightful form of entertainment, some of the stories could be a little on the macabre side, for some, others will love itVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Well-aged Disturbia
Thriller freaked me out as a kid. That theme tune, that mirror, the claustrophobic feeling created by the harsh lighting and the studio look, some of the deadpan acting too. Some of the stories are a little bit 'ouch' but it's easy to see what Brian Clemens was aiming for: 70 minutes of focused disturbia each week. And it still works. A Masterpiece of monumental proportions.
I remember this show from the 70's when I was a child. Real 1970s nostalgia. I love it. The days before cctv and dna testing. The clothes and the hairstyles not to mention the cars are the tradional 1970s. Good English crime drama.
