The Gibson J-100 Xtra Acoustic/Electric Guitar is part of the guitar maker's Gibson Super Jumbo family. The J-100 Xtra engineering is also inspired by the classic SJ-100 that was a favorite of artists in the 1930s. These models are designed with larger bodies to produce a greater range of sound. This six-string machine features a solid and scalloped-braced Sitka spruce top and bubinga on the back and sides. This combination delivers an impressive and warm midrange response as well as a thundering bottom. The Gibson J-100 Xtra comes with a Fishman transducer, promising excellent acoustic amplification. It has an antique natural finish, a maple wood round neck and mustache, and a fingerboard constructed from Indian rosewood.
