No alternative
As far as I am aware, there are no aftermarket alternatives to this very expensive wiper arm. Having said that, Stoke Audi did offer the best price. Because of a design flaw, a worn arm could make metal to glass contact with consequences for the windscreen. It seems good practice to replace both arm and blade when excessive wear becomes evident. Unfortunately, the part had some damage on arrival but to avoid having to send it back, I decided to cure this myself as I needed the car back in operation. The small metal locating arm near the blade pin was bent and some paint had flaked off. I bent it back and all was well except for the paint loss. I cant imagine how Audi can justify such a high price. Wiper arm plus new blade almost £150.00. Thankfully the car has one onlyVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
