This soap is genuine CARBOLIC soap, actually containing carbolic acid, which many so-called traditional carbolic soaps do not, owing to EU regulations. It has a very strong fragrance, ideal if you're looking for a proper fresh cleaning experience. I love it, but I could see that some people might find the fragrance too pungent for them.
