Connectivity and Power in Spades
QSC has always been a great proponent of flexible connectivity. This K12 compact one-thousand watt output system follows in that tradition. As an audio professional who covers all scales and types of events I have to say this makes my job much easier. My business also supports other audio professionals in my area. I need components that are able to work well for whatever the next call may require. This K12 output system/powered loudspeaker covers a wide range of requirements and sounds great doing it. It is easily portable to suit any location. Taking into consideration its size and weight this QSC powered loudspeaker delivers an impressive amount of audio power for maximum coverage. After a shootout with JBL and EV, I bought the QSC K12.
My friend helped me set up a JBL Eon, an ElectroVoice and the K12. We both played and sang through the three of them for a few hours and while I had originally hoped to get one of the ElectroVoice, or keep the JBL's which I already owned, for both vocals and acoustic guitar, the K12 won out. Ironically, the JBL was the only one with a 15, but the K12 tromped it in bottom end impact. Very pleasant to play through. I rated this with 4 stars because I would liked to have still had 3 inputs, as my much older JBL's had, and now I see the newest version does have 3 inputs, although they dropped the ball and only give an 1/8" input instead of allowing a keyboard, another guitar, or better yet, combination XLR and 1/4" jacks. I walked into a music store of few months ago and told them I'd like to get an upgrade over my K12 and they disappointedly said that it was still the best in class speaker on the market.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great for reproducing the tones you have already processed.
Nothing I can add to what the product description says. If you don't already know about these speakers, do yourself a favor and do a little research on this speaker. I love it -everything they said it was. Great speakers. I bought the qsc k12 on line about three weeks ago. When it came, I was a little disappointed because of it's small size. However, there is nothing small about it's sound. Awesome Speakers
I won't name the other well known brand, but I replaced another set of speakers with these QSC's. The specs for the two were very similar, however these speakers blow the others away by a long shot. The sound is superb and the build quality is outstanding. I had heard about QSC quality and sound, but they are even better than I thought they could possibly be for a speaker this size. Light weight, amazing sound.
I went from a jbl style 215 passive speaker to these powered k12s. We played an outdoor venue and my wife parked about 1000 feet away. When she got out of the car she said she could hear the band clear as a bell.
