A Good Reflex Sight For The Money

I was looking for a decent reflex sight that wouldn't break the bank. This unit did what I wanted for a decent price. Pros are that it seems pretty rugged, it uses a CR123 battery, has good optics, and it has a wide range of settings. The only Con I've noticed is that the quick release lever sticks out because of the cantilever offset and doesn't have a locking clip or pin. This isn't a big deal for casual use but it could certainly create a problem if you were in a tactical situation where it could get snagged on clothing and possibly release the sight from your rifle. Other than that flaw it's a great deal.

This is not Compatable with Sightmark Magnafiers

I purchased a New Sightmark SM26008 Ultra Shot & Sightmark 7x Tactical Reflex Holographic Slide to Side Magnifier - Model SM19026 . They are Not Compatible . This Combination causes blurry from the Sightmark SM26008 . The Magnifier 7x is Fine . I contacted Sightmark . They said ... Unfortunately the SM26008 isn’t one of the sights we offer that are compatible with magnification. The reason being the sight picture glass isn’t contoured to be magnified also it’s a single pane sight picture window so it will cause flaring & blurring of the reticle. You will need either of the sights I have listed below to be able to use a magnifier. SM14002

  • GREAT buy

Do NOT be discouraged by the brand or price. I am glad i went ahead and made the purchase. Its a solid product, Holds true on its sighting. I have it on an AR15 using 5.56 rounds. Doesn't loose accuracy at all. Best thing is the new batteries are rechargeable.

  • High quality inexpensive

I have owned all types of scopes. The sightmark line of scopes and reflex optics are absolutely the best quality for the money. . The cross hairs and m dots are so small you can easily use this on a 150 yard shot, even down to a 6" target ..

  • Very good alternative to more expensive reflex sights

The Sightmark USP (Ultra Shot Plus) provides an excellent alternative to other reflex sights costing hundreds of dollars more. Sightmark is an up and coming company providing rugged and dependable products. The first one of these was a packaged deal with a Sightmark Photon night vision I purchased. I have this same model reflex sight on five different rifles now. It provides fast, easy operation of the power switch and illumination intensity. Zeroing requires an allen wrench, but once sighted in, maintains its zero even through somewhat rough handling - in and out of vehicles to the range and hunting areas. Since this is a non-magnifying reflex sight, its intended usage is close range out to roughly 100 yards. I have found that the dot or circle dot reticle is best for longer range precision, and the cross/circle reticle gets used most for closer range and fast target acquisition. Eye relief is not critical, and is a welcome benefit on 450 Bushmaster and 50 Beowulf feral pig AR rifles.

  • Very happy with it.

No issues holding zero on my 9mm PCC. The reticle is clear in both red and green, the power settings work good in both bright Sunlight and dim indoor light. It is easy to use and easy to set up. Only complaint QD lever sticks out a bit. Other than that I'm very happy with it and would recommend it.

  • Low Budget but Durable Site - Exactly what I wanted

Mounted this on my 300 Black Out. First shots out of the box were on paper. after about 3-5 rounds, I had it sighted in. Great Product, Durable, Easy setup, Easy adjustment, Love the on/off and brightness buttons.

  • Not adjusting zero properly

Bought under the assumption it was the newer version, probably why they only had 1 picture. Functions ok, seems to be of good quality, magnifier does not line up properly with sight, obviosly meant more for a red dot not a holographic. Still works just a bit high. Trying to adjust sight it barely moves and then moves a lot. Tried tapping on sight while adjusting, did nothing for me. Will have to try exercising adjustment screws and zeroing sight again. It did not move the dot smacking it around tho, so after I get it zeroed should not have a problem keeping it zeroed.

  • Good sight for the price.

Solid sight with simple controls. Co-witness perfect with iron sights (AR height), and has clear reticals. Sure it's not an Eotec, but it's not $500 either. I haven't shot with it yet so I can't comment on holding zero, but seeing the quality, it should do fine.

  • I am happy with the sight

There is a huge price range for these red dot scope, from $60 to $600. I settled on this sight because it had all the features that I thought I wanted and it was reasonably priced. 4 different reticles, both red and green. Good battery life, good field of vision and the easy attachment to my AR15. I have been to the range twice with the sight, it's very easy to use and I've had no problems setting it up or getting used to it. For the price, I am very happy with it.
