A great gentlemans knife
beautifully made knife. Looks great and you can see where your money went. Having sadi that it's not a heavy duty use knife. As robust as the construction is it doesnt feel great in my hand and I wouldnt want to use it for most of my day to day needs. It's sort of a knife verison of the Sunday BBQ gun. Everything it was designed to be. Hefty - top notch build quality - thick laser sharp blade- thick liner lock. Lot of knife for the money. New thumb stud lock-in is a great idea. It's got it's own personality
This knife is very unique in almost every way. Definitely not a practical EDC knife as it is quite thick and heavy, but it's solid build and quality are incredible for it's price point. The blade profile is amazing and the Taiwan factory for Spyderco is pumping out some amazing blades these days. The handle is very comfortable in the hand, the thumb hole can be operated as a flipper once you get the technique down (may need to adjust your tension screw a little bit, mine was good out of the box for it) and doesn't have any play whatsoever. It's a damn nice collector, or inside jacket EDC. Too big for the pants pocket and the finish can get scratched quite easily.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
