Simple to use, good price, compact.
This particular dongle does not reset or clear the bios or reset the phone as some dongles claim to do. (This one never made such claims). What this dongle does, is enable one to do the same thing as pressing the power, volume down and home keys which allows you to go into developer's mode by simply plugging the dongle into the USB port and powering up the phone. Some Galaxy S phones would still power up to the home screen even after holding down the 3 buttons simultaneously, but this dongle ensures this boot every time, and the cost is super cheap, so it's a valuable tool for the techie that works on these phones.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Didn't work
Bought for a Chinese tablet, didn't work, then tried it on my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and Nexus 7 tablet, same, does Not put device into download mode. I suspect the resistance value between pins 4 and 5 is Not the needed 310k-ohms, but haven't taken it into work where I can get a meter on it to check, yet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
