It's a Mad Mad Mad World on Steroids
I didn't see this in a theatre. So, I had become very curious about it after the Oscars. The film reminds me of the 60's classic It's a Mad Mad Mad World. Only on steroids while taking acid. The plot is a very basic one about an Oriental family's everyday existence and its varied trials and tribulations. They own a laundry and are figuring their taxes. The totally bizarre nature of their adventures is entertaining. Most of which are not expected. I think most of the Oscars were warranted.
