Legal thriller from One False Move director Carl Franklin. Ashley Judd stars as Claire Kubik, a successful lawyer who resigns her post in order to defend her husband Tom. He's been accused of committing war crimes during his time as a covert special ops Marine in El Salvador in the late 80s. She was blissfully unaware of his past, but remains convinced of his innocence. However, Claire needs some assistance with some of the more obscure aspects of military law and procedure, and so calls upon the services of Charlie Grimes, a washed up, alcoholic former military attorney.
