Washer Woes; Fixed !
The W/C had been a problem for a few days, didn't fill quickly after a flush. A bit of research on YouTube told me the cause . Send for a diaphragm wsher . I bought it from here and was the cheapest and delivery was within two days I ecall. Fitted same day and voila , the Cistern was back to normal. Sure enough the "old" washer had a slit in it, thus causing the problem. £2.39p well spent !! An easy fixVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just in time diaphragm
Having searched the house for the spare I already had, I eventually gave up and ordered this one. It's just as well I did as following the placement of the order, I tracked down the one I had been looking for and fitted it. Almost immediately we started having problems with water hammer. Nothing I did made any difference until the new diaphragm arrived and I fitted it. Instant rectification of the issue. Loo no longer sounds like a fog horn.
This washer is smaller than the original. I took the central spigot out (its unnecessary for my inlet), I placed it behind the failing washer and it works perfectly.
