Fabulous read.
This is such an unusual story. I absolutely loved it and read it in 2 sittings - very difficult to put down. Beautifully written - I really could see the swamp and knew the characters. Our book club all bought a copy of this as we couldnt get to our local library. I had never heard of it and the title is intriguing but gives nothing away. This is one of the most compelling reads I have enjoyed for some time. The format of short chapters intertwined between different periods in time is excellent.
