Simle but brilliant idea.
I had a near miss riding the bike the other day and for the first time in years I didn't have the video camera on the bike. The battery had gone flat and I was in a hurry. I decided that I needed an on-board power supply and this was ideal. I already had the SAE cable attached to the batteryas partof my battery tender set-up so didn't really need the cable butat the price it was too good to miss. The charger is stuck in a convenient location next to the original SAE cable and with the charger cable in place I know I am never going to miss any evidence of a hit or near miss. The charger puts out enough power to charge the battery in the camera even with it recording so I am well pleased. The cable that came in the kit was used to make an LED work light which will plug into the original SAE cable on the bike so I have some light to deal with emergencies at night or in the winter. All-in-all it was great value and a great idea for a simple charger.

Easy to connect up comes with ties if you want to cable tie it into position also had bolt holes in the USB charger end to bolt into position so far it has been working realy well. Good value for the price.
I have had two of these before on other motorbikes and have been very pleased with the functionality. Recently I let water get into one of them and smoke started coming from it and the fuse blew. This new one I have covered in a plastic cover when the leads are fitted to keep it dry. It has been ok so far. So they are good for the price but not waterproof when the cables are installed because the cap has to stay off. Therefore keep them dry and it will work fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
