Peace of mind

Good product but battery drain in 2 compartements an issue with mine.
easy to set up and versitlity about where to fit. Light is adequate with the ability to turn lights in different locations. . Used duracell rechargeable batteres but find that 2 of them don't last long. The other 4 are ok . Gonna try Duracell ultra to see if it helps. otherwise good. Info . when fitting place it handy to reach up and remove battery tray as now its every other day. info Pic shows cable but this is my satalite cable..

Amazing light
I was a little dubious about a battery powered light but as there had been really good reviews, I thought I would give it a go. I needed a light that would light up my front path as there are currently no lights and with the winter weather, we wanted something that didn't involve drilling holes in our external wall. This took 6 batteries and oh my goodness! It is really bright and the sensor is fantastic - adjustable too for time and sensitivity. This is amazing. No issues so far.
I was expecting it to be brighter than it is. I've knocked a star off for that. It does what is required of it for me. The sensor rotates, it puzzled me at first as I could not see the adjusting screws shown on the instructions, to access them if you can't see them, rotate the sensor. You can also rotate the sensor so that it picks up more one way than the other. Like all sensors, it work best if you walk across it rather than straight towards it. Swivel the sensor to facilitate this. I can't comment on its durability, I haven't had it installed for a month as yet. Fitting wasn't an problem but you have to drill the plastic mounting, it doesn't come pre-drilled. I was mounting it into brickwork which is difficult to mark and drill accurately as you can't centre pop the drill. Having drilled the backplate it then drilled through the holes into a piece of thin wood, ( I used an offcut of 10mm ply). I then drilled a hole in the brick and fastened the wood in position on the wall. I could then drill through the the remaining hole with the masonry drill bit. Decent Product.
This is a sturdy, well-made light, that gives out a reasonable amount of light for a battery-powered motion sensor security light. It is more than sufficient for a small area around 10 x 10 metres and it is far superior to a cheaper version I bought. The batteries are housed in a removable cartridge that is easy to slide out and place back in without disturbing the main light fitting, plus it is totally waterproof, the two lights are adjustable to shine exactly where you need them. A set of six batteries does not last six months as claimed, however, I am using good quality rechargeable batteries and so it is not a problem. Excellent motion battery powered security light. Great price, super easy to fix to wall and works a treat. The lights are very bright & lights up our whole garden. The adjustable detection & time sensors are a good addition & the price is very reasonable. Almost perfect
I needed an external light that runs on batteries because guaranteeing enough sunshine to run solar lighting in the winter months is tricky. This one looked good because it has twin lights that can be positioned, the mounting method is good with a back plate the light slides into once fixed in position. The battery compartment slides in and out so changing batteries doesn't involve dismantling anything. The lights are really bright but don't spread very wide, that's ok for what I needed. The only disappointment is that the sensor range is a little limited so it doesn't pick up movement until you're quite close.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well made PIR LED floodlight
The product appears well made and is supplied with clear instructions. Easy to install. First screw the mounting plate to the wall, then slide the lamp assembly onto the plate until the latch clicks. Each lamp may be rotated side to side and up and down. The detection range of the PIR sensor is only around 2.5m at the sides. Ok,Well basically the SENCOR Range None to activate it u have to be Apx a INCH Away from the sensor to activate it. Good robust item but to do the job,I think not,Shame really looks the part etc but don’t do as it says on the tin. I’m only going buy the one I brought but u adjust the Sensor one way or the other yeah they come on,but when put outside to do there job as such,NOTHING,Sorry really can’t say no more positive things about them,but I’m just going by what’s happening here. Shame.....😢
