Professional Sound for my Home Theatre
I am a professional recording engineer and producer for teen pop music. I know Yamaha speakers are made well and sound good. I had a large Yamaha home stereo with sense-around about 30 years ago. The stereo speakers were huge back then, with 12 inch woofers. I was not sure what to expect with these newer smaller speakers. I knew the technology had advanced. I was not disappointed. Smaller speakers with advanced audio digital technology and processing makes these small speakers perform extremely well. Even at low volume, I clearly hear the sense-around (5-channel) system working. The system is loud enough for my family room that is about 30 ft x 18 feet. If you want a system with really powerful bass, you will want to get one with larger main speakers - but that will cost you a lot more. I am extremely happy with this system. Wired for Sound
We love our new Yamaha home theater system. The sound is awesome. We were able to set the system up relatively easy following the included directions. The system easily connects with your smart phone's playlist and sounds like a mini concert. Better than you think!
This is a system that is MUCH more than expected! It gives beautiful sound at very low levels where you hear all the high AND low tones! It also has the power to use in a large hall! Be very careful when using the system while living in an apartment! It has enough power to damage walls! I was looking for a system to complement what I already had, but at a starter system price I got a system that can be added onto much further into the future than I ever thought. A+++ Mint condition, incredible sound and price!
The box had me worried about what was inside. However, upon opening and setting up these speakers...which would cost a ton more even as part of a package deal with the receiver...the are mint condition. Not a scratch or scuff on them, and all of the original cabling was inside and still packaged. Everything has worked beautifully for weeks now and I couldn't be happier. My home movie theater is now complete. The clear plastic shrink wrap was even mint on the outside of any glossy surface.
