Slight modification to install/ check your gutters first
Works great so far. Only concern is that I had to modify by cutting slots for the support shanks for the gutters. Mine are every 36 inches so each section had to be cut. Easy to cut with razor knife and appears to have no impact on integrity of strip. I installed them before the pine needles and birch leaves fell and these inserts worked perfect. I like it!
Easy to install and flows water effectively, even in very heavy rainstorms. Test section installed a year ago seems to be holding up well. Doesn't eliminate the need to clean, but it's a lot easier to run a shop vac over the top of these once a year than to dig the slop out of the gutters a couple times a year. I'm not sure how well they would do in an area with lots of pine needles or other junk that might stick in the foam, but I happily don't have that problem. There's what looks to be a sprayed-on UV coating on the top surface that isn't applied as evenly as I would prefer, especially toward the ends. It will be interesting to see if the poorly-sprayed sections hold up the the Texas sun as well as the rest.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
