Works well but overpriced in the UK market
This heater works reasonably well, especially for heating modest size spaces. The main operational negative is lack of useful flame adjustment (heat output). The flame adjustment is miniscule -- almost non-existent. The main positive is a removable fuel tank, so you can carry the tank outdoors for re-filling.
These heaters are made in Korea. Construction quality is OK, but not nearly as robust and solid as similar kerosene heaters from Japan, such as those sold under the Kerosun, DynaGlo, Toyotomi, Redstone and DuraHeat names -- but not generally available in the UK.
Qlima take advantage of the fact that kerosene heaters are not commonly sold in the UK by jacking up the price to twice the price in North America and three times the Korean retail price. This is unfortunate. Qlima would sell a lot more units if they would bring prices in line with the rest of the world.
