M-Audio Air, Lack of Software development
The M audio air would be incredibly more efficient as a piece of production hardware if the M-Audio still supported its Hyper-Control featue. Which automatically maps most of the knobs, faders, and pads to the most commonly used editing features (such as play/record buttons, and sound FX editing) For a piece of studio equipment, having to manually map each of these buttons and knobs in each individual song makes it incredibly inconvenient.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Nice Midi Controller
All buttons and knows work. Use this device with Logic 9 and has been a fun addition to my Mac pro. I have not been able to learn to use the drum pads. They are automatically assigned to the lower register of the keyboard, so I have not been able to utilize them as a MPC alternative.
