    Okay as a "starter"

I like that the price is pretty unbeatable, which makes this great for some home DIY and with the willingness to make some adjustments, spend some time tuning the machine and beefing it up a little, this would probably complete with tables that are twice the price. The arbour design is really good and blade can be changed very quickly with the wrenches supplied. A nice wide table with clean mitre slots. Found there to be significant wobble vibration on the blade, which I am confident can be 'tuned'. The fence is a little flimsy and whilst it stays parallel t the blade. it doesn't feel super-secure. The mitre gauge is a little loose in the slots, but again it's nothing that can't be fixed.

  • Most critical review

    Poor safety guard design

The Safety guard is inadequate. It is too weak, bends easily so it comes in contact with the blade and cannot br tightened properly. For a good machine it apears that insdufficuent arttention has been paid to the design of its most important safety feature. Basically the safety guard is cheap plastic and unfit for purpose. This is the second table saw that I have purchased from Ebay and the safety guard on the first one was much more robust. User safety should be the prime consideration not cost saving.

  • A Cautionary Tale

When you look on eBay at all the saw benches that are out there, you have to ask yourself what's so different between them all with a plastic base. Colour and wattage of motor. You have the red, orange, blue, black, another brand in both blue and a red without naming names, they are all pretty much the same a part from power of motor, colour and most of all the price. I didn't want a to cheap a saw but I also didn't want to pay over the odds. I opted for the Parker Brand saw with a 2000 watt motor and that's what I needed. After using it now for a couple of weeks and boy has it cut some wood it's only stalled on me once and that was lastnight cutting a large 8 x 4 sheet of OSB board 1" thick. After a reset on the tiny little black button which I wasn't aware was present I was back in action. The instruction manual is about as useful as a hole in the head and the base frame/legs they supply are also useless this also includes the anti-push over feet. It's a cheaply made and over inflated priced saw. The table top is as bowed as someone bent over looking for something on the floor and the guide rails for the attachments one of mine has a ripple part way along it's run. I haven't added the side extension table tops as I don't need them for my application, but then again I don't need accuracy either which sadly you won't get that either with this saw. When the side guide rail is clamped down there is a 1/4" gap where it's lifted up at the end and it flaps about a bit like a sail does in the wind. If it hadn't got the 2000 w motor it would have probably burnt out by now for the amount of wood it's cut up and even though I'm grateful for that, it also seems to powerful of a motor for such a small saw. Is it easy to use? Yes Is it well designed? Yes and no. Yes in a way for the actual body of the saw and stuff on it. But what really lets this saw down are the legs, the support feet and most of all the table top. Is it powerful? Yes, without a doubt. I would also say it is or could be dangerous as the support feet at the other end of the support legs don't stop the saw from toppling forward when pushing stuff through it.

  • The straight bar on top move when sliding timber though. But performance was good .. need full length guide bar . Then it would be great value..

Happy with my purchase for the money. Helped me out a lot., My only disappointment was the bar moves .. so not sturdy enough. If it was full length across the surface it would have been great bit of kit for domestic diyer.. still happy with poformance.

  • Really good table saw

A great item for the price would recommend to a competent DIYer on a budget, easy to set up don't rush it and follow the instructions. This item is not for a novice as the equipment is dangerous if you have no experience with a table saw.

  • Table Saw review

The saw went together ok , the saw chassis has been designed in an injected plastic mould so there is more flex than a metal chassis. The saw is very disappointing , the guard is too short and the assesories are made out of plastic It will need a bit of work to set the saw up , within 2 long cuts the saw was blunt , The motor is powerful , and the saw angle and adjustment is ok , I will build a sled and get a new blade and hopefully it will be useful

  • Good for the price. Easy to assemble

Makes a good clean cut. If you need acvuracy the fence moves when used so needs replacing but expected at this price. Only real downside the table slots are not the standard size of 19mm they are about 23mm so unable to but sliders or runners.

  • Bargain price, and useable tool.

A great tool for the price, but had to make modifications in order to cut accurately. Throws sawdust from the bench and and underneath, it might need two extractors to be really clean. You get what you pay for.
