Being a Joiner with Years of experience and stuck to the DeWalt Brand for the past 5 Years, I have to say this has impressed me. Great Quality, nice Compact Fit to the Hand, weight is nicely distributed. The addition of a 3 setting LED Light is great and the all Metal Chuck is Perfect. Overall great Product.

Why did I wait so long to get a DeWALT. Drill is amazing and works better than my corded Bosch. I have been drilling holes through Large rafters and it just sails through them and after 3 hours there was still a full charge. I did get the 5 amp batteries and well worth it. As other people have noted it is also light and smaller than the Braun so able to get to places not available to other drills. DeWALT do tend to be on the pricier side of Life which is why we defer to other good makes, just not as good as DeWALT. The brushless motor is also a dream to use.
