Rode POD Mic
This is one of the best microphones that Rode the quality is excellent have produced and is great for broadcasting live streaming and podcasts I would highly recommend this microphone to anyone, comes in at around £110 to £120 depending on who you buy from, however I would recommend that you buy this microphone from a Rode authorised dealer, if you buy this microphone outside the UK you could pay anything up to £300 so by within the UK

Can be quiet & temperamental but is very well made and substantial 3/5
The mic is very heavy duty and feels great plus it's very easy to use. Unfortunately, it can be on the quiet side compared to other microphones. The sound quality is good but compared to some cheaper mics i have used, i actually don't think it was worth the extra money. The microphone can be temperamental depending on what you are recording through. if you are going through a standard mixer, you can just pump the volume/gain up, if you are going through an Audio interface, you won't get as much control and if you are using a Digital Audio Recorder you can find the mic is much quieter than others. Great sound, build like a tank.
Sound quality is as to be expected from RODE. Well build and plug and play. Gently equalisation helps a good bit but microphone itself perform really good. Affordable price is a bonus.

Great value mic
These mics are well build and great value. Perfect for podcasting or recording dialogue. Clean clear sound from a great quality mic
The Rode Podmic gives a good clean clear sound. It is very natural sounding for audio. It is a sturdily build mic and good quality. As a dynamic mic you will need good preamps to give a decent signal. I use a Marti audio in-line preamp (also available on Ebay) to boost the signal. Good dynamic mic for the price
This is a good dynamic mic for a podcast. The sound quality is good for the price. Remember there are somewhat a bit better mics with good tonal quality but they are four or more times more expensive EQ can help a little to match these. Built like a tank! If Naomi Campbell threw this one at you - you wouldn't know about it - until very much later. highly recommend this mic
this is a great microphone but you need a heavy duty boom arm if you want to boom it cos its about 1 kilo in weight same as a bag off sugar so I use a boom plus I find it good on a desk stand
