  • Easier to use than my last antenna rotor

I like this antenna rotor with its memory function you just rotate the rotor until your channel comes in and then press the memory button on the unit or the remote and then assign it a letter you want to use. Then after that you just press that letter and the antenna goes to that location. The remote control has the same buttons as the control unit has and is easy to use also. Recommended.

  • GREAT IMPROVEMENT

I HAD TWO OF THE OLDER 126 MODELS AND NEITHER ONE OF THEM LASTED 5 MINUTES, JAMMED UP IMMEDIATELY. THIS NEW 226 MODEL HAS BEEN TOTALLY REDESIGNED - NEW ROTOR, NEW CONTROL HEAD. MOUNTED IN HEAVY WIND AREA AND IT PERFORMS SMOOTHLY AND RELIABLY. JUST BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE ABOUT A WEEK AGO AND IT IS WORKING JUST AS SMOOTHLY., AS THE FIRST ONE, WHICH IS NOW ABOUT 1 & 1/2 MONTHS OLD. THIS DEALER GAVE SPEEDY DELIVERY AND BEST PRICE I COULD FIND.

  • Great for a light antenna and 50 MPH max wind

A simple but useful controller with straight ahead interface. A rotor that is robust enough for light weights and moderate wind loading. A smaller antenna means less torque needed but more importantly, less wind loading. Do not get this for anything heavy or large. Mine is to be used in an amateur radio satellite system. For the azimuth. The antenna will weigh ten pounds and be under six feet long. Winter will do the wind test.

  • Well built and does the job intended for it

I was attempting to rotate a much longer pole with its own support guys. Found mast clamps inadequate for the job as they didn't bite into the pole properly in my situation and kept on slpping and the nuts also, despite washers provided kept on coming loose. However, they are perfectly adequate as my second rotaror of the same make works without problems.

  • Excellent, vital piece of kit for the HF enthusiast

Worked right out of the box, a breeze to set up. My 20M dipole sits on top of an apartment block with sea views, so the winds are good. This antenna rotor handles it well and I have seen absolutely no drift with winds. With a fixed dipole, QSOs were pretty much restricted to either side of the dipole, but now am able to get 59 reports almost all directions. The motor is weather proof, as is proven by the installation at my QTH. Firmly recommend this antenna tuner.

  • Looks good not yet installed.

This item looks to be good quality. I did have to tap the bolt hole for the two bottom bolts. Unfortunately I have not been able to use this rotor because in attempting to climb up on the metal roof I was reminded that I am no where near as young as I used to be! Gotta go find some younger help with suction cup shoes!

  • Medium to light duty rotator

You will need 24 AWG 4 lead wire to run (not included) from controller to rotator, I already had one. Put on 60 foot tower with a small beam and non directional antenna. Working as of this date.

  • Love this rotor, much better deal than $500 HAM rotor

With a slight modification to mount on our tower. This rotor is a clean looking stable platform for UHF Yagi antenna and Weather camera. simple 3 wire hookup, quiet and does not allow the beam to sag. Much better than spending 500+ dollars on a HAM rotor.

  • Works well in my attic setup

Am using it to rotate a small beam antenna (ham) located in the attic. Works as I expected and very dependable. Am considering buying a second one for use on a slightly larger beam antenna.

  • antenna rotor

works well the only thing I could have seen which could have been better was if the steel zinc plated screws had never seize on them as they are being put into pot metal and will in time not be able to be removed if service needs to be done. So I added the anti seize. No big deal at all. Using with light weight digital tv antenna so life of rotor should be good.
