Its simultaneous 16-track recording utilizes eight analogs and eight ADAT ins. It records to a large-capacity 40GB E-IDE Maxtor hard disk to give you plenty of hours of recording time. Its FDMS-3 technology allows for more efficient disk and CPU usage. This means you get more minutes per drive without the need for any data compression. It also promotes faster editing and DSP operations. It has an impressive digital mixer that provides 60mm faders for all 16 channels and 3-band EQ with mid and high parametric.This system delivers master EQ, channel and master compressors, eight mic inputs, and ADAT optical I/O. Solid Machine
These are great machines but have issues. If you give it very heavy use the stop buttons will go on them and are almost impossible to fix unless you want to take apart about 20 pieces, unscrew motherboards, etc. They are buried in the front, plastic, and connected to a mold.
