Excellent product, but….
Used this to extend an existing Linksys 3 node system, which I have found to be very stable and reliable. This product is equally good. Only slight issue is that it is branded as ‘Gigaclear, powered by Linksys’ and has a slightly different model number, so does not get fully recognised by the Linksys setup app. A point to note if you are buying this as an additional node and disappointing to see this not being made clear in the product description (model number is actually WHW03GCv2).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Linksys Velop Tri Band
Ignore any negative reviews about being difficult to setup! Pretty sure anyone who has trouble probably cant figure out how to boil a kettle! it's so simple to set up. The Linksys Velop branded ones and the Gigalan branded ones all work on the same network. I cant understand how any one can fail to get these set up its so simple! I have a Linksys Velop Router and 4x Velop Tri Band Nodes in my house ( 3 story) and the signal is perfect. If your on Virgin put your router into modem mode, Cant be done on a Sky router.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

good quality wifi extender
It was not easy to set up but now that it is working it extends my wifi perfectly. I had some problems with my Sonos system as having two routers confuses it and i had to make sure the system was connected to the Velop not my main router.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Excellent mesh wifi that once setup delivers extremely swift and robust wireless internet. If adding a new ISP branded (gigaclear or community fibre) Velop to an existing mesh. You may have to use the 5 swift button press method (google this) the app wouldn't work for me and this method worked immediately & was much faster than adding any node through via the app like we had to before.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great mesh product - just buy the correct ones.
Excellent signal from my mesh network, reaching areas without a decent wifi signal. I had 2 nodes and added this 3rd one. If you already have a velop mesh network and decide to add another node just be aware that some linksys velop nodes on ebay are originally from ISPs eg Gigaclear or Communirty Fibre. These nodes have proprietary firmware and are not completely compatible with standard Linksys Velop nodes ( as I learned!). Good but expensive
Just installed 2 extra node in 5 bedroom farmhouse with thick walls and large rooms. Very happy so far but only 4 stars as it took quite a bit of setting up. I needed to get help as the limited instructions are difficult to follow without a bit of technical knowledge! Now have respectable wiffi over whole house. Even stretches out 40ft across the garden to the greenhouse. Expensive but so much better than the wiffi extenders that I wasted my money on before. Is it worth the money? I think so especially as there is not much alternative. Be aware that the plug that goes into the electricity circuit is quite wide and does not fit well alongside other plugs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very quick and easy to setup
I wanted to replace the WiFi router provided by my ISP as it had poor range and some devices kept losing connection briefly and vide meetings were difficult My HP printer also crashed the WiFi necessitating a reboot of the router whenever it was switched on. I suspected the router was struggling so bought 2 velop nodes. The problems were resolved, signal strength around the house is great. Not the Linksys node I expected, buts works fine
The product I received was a Gigaclear Powered by Linksys node, not the Linksys Velop node. I tried to add the node to my existing Velop 2-node network using the Linksys app and couldn't get it working. But I called the Linksys support team and they walked me through an alternative method of adding the node and it's been working fine since then.

Good value extension
Mesh wifi was a step forward from the days of repeaters. We had two units, moved house and had a bad patch. Fixed! This house is typical of many we viewed with the line coming into a study in the worst possible position for your wifi transmitter.
