Cord is NOT Samsung brand!
As soon as we got this charger, that is supposedly a SAMSUNG brand one, I could tell the actual cord is NOT a Samsung brand. The wall adapter is Samsung but not the cord. It does not charge from both sides like it should and it does not stay plugged into the phone. Falls out very easily. When I compared our other samsung charger cords to this one we received you can instantly tell they are different. They dont even FEEL the same. Bad experience
Extremely disappointed with this product I've had it for about a week with little use and the bottom piece shredded. This is a subpar, Dollar Tree product! It can't be an original item. The pictures of the item are deceiving. My husband has the other charger. It was a two-for-one product but he hasn't taken it out the rapper yet.

Purchase at your own risk
Overheats considerably. So much so that charging itself becomes intermittent. These are cheap so high quality should not be expected but be warned you are relying on failsafe designs in your own device preventing these chargers from doing serious damage to your phone. As the pic shows,, internal hardware tells the tale, this could have been (indeed may have been) put together by a high school student taking an introductory course in Electronics.

Don't waste time and money on other USB adapters - this is the one you want!
This adapter is excellent for several reasons. First, it's a quality high-current charger for standard USB-connected charging applications. But it's also QC capable, which means if you connect it to something that expects 9V at higher current - such as a magnetic wireless charging pad - it can properly power those at their higher preferred voltage which translates to faster wireless charging.
