Highly articulated new Barbie doll, perfect for adult collectors as well as children
This doll is so much fun! She has 22 points of articulation, making her the best 11.5 - 12" doll I've ever encountered. She can hold just about any pose imaginable, and best of all, inspires the owner to use her imagination in many new ways - or even to move themselves! Teresa has a sweet smile and very pretty face; very basic clothes and lovely hair with no irritating styling products with which one must contend. Pretty doll but disappointing
I like the doll overall, but once again Mattel has decided to change the face mold and the size of her feet. Her face has a pleasant look to it, but isn't as pretty as the older models. She does not look as "real". Her feet are shaped in a way that the standard Barbie shoes do not fit because of the high arch in them. On the positive side, her arms are more realistic and the doll makes a great ballerina. Her hair is pretty but does not have the same silky feel that other new dolls have. Her realistic joints are great. She can be posed in multiple positions. I was disappointed about her face mold, hair and feet but as an adult collector, I expected something more. Made to move Barbie...Yes Please!
My daughter loves this Barbie so much that one of the hands keeps comming off so she stuck it back in the hole and put a band-aid around it to hold it in place!! Articulates well
My granddaughter saw something showing how to take her head off to replace it on a doll that she already had but its body did not have all the movements of this doll. I thought it was odd but I ordered it and she was thrilled. With a bit of a struggle I removed and replaced the head and off she went happily ever after.
