Don't grout home without it!
I have never used smoothing tools before - just a wet finger tip! - as they seem expensive in diy shops. These however are great value, so easy to use and get a great finish; I will never grout, seal or silicone bead again without them. Top marks. Poor design and too cheaply made
Its described as a grout spreader but that bit is absolutely rigid so no good for getting the grout where you want it. I didn't try the grout shapers but they were very small and would be uncomfortable to use. It is dead cheap - but for a reason = poor design.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don't Silicone Seal without one
I wore my last one out on dozens of properties sealing around skirting boards, kitchens, baths and tiling. I tried to make do without until i got around to ordering a replacement. Epic fail. I ordered a new one and the finish is to perfect and you don't get covered with silicone. I always start with a very small bead and then use a smaller edge than planned and then do a another bead with the actual size required. The sealant removal tool lost its edge within a few minutes of use rendering it almost useless for the intended purpose. The job in hand was successfully completed by reverting to using a craft knife. The silicone profilers were useful and provided a good finish to the new sealant.
