Made a difference 1st go.
I was a bit sceptical about products that promise so much but this product has really worked. I have used it twice now and although not completely gone, the bad smell in the machine is definitely on the way out. My towels are again smelling fresh and clean instead of damp and sour. Rare for HG product but this one does not remove smells from your washing machine.
Used this on a washing machine that had been in storage and had smelt when brought back into service (it had not smelt previously). Have used HG products before and found them to be very good particularly their mould remover, but this product was a disappointment. The smell persisted after one cycle of machine cleaner so I gave it another cycle with some more, but it made no difference. It just tried to mask the original smell with one of its own, not remove it and unfortunately it was no match for the original smell. Brilliant, I have tried everything to get rid of the awful smell from my washing machine.
