Bikestand
I would have given this a 5 star but for the fact when I put stand on my mtb I have round bars supporting the back wheels. There was nothing on the inside of the bikestand to help grip the bar so it was loose on the bike and did not work. I ended up using a bit of rubber that I had spare to go on the inside of bike stand clamp to keep it solid from not moving. Other than that it's a top stand.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap but not long enough for adult bike.
This prop stand is barely fit for purpose. It is too short for a standard size men's bike, which means the extendable arm has to be set at the end of it's movement to have any chance of keeping the bike upright. In this position, it wobbles around within the main tube, so I've had to pack it out with electricians tape to make it fit more snugly. Strong, good quality, easy to fit & use.
Seems strong and well engineered & manufactured with quality materials. Easy to fit and easy to adjust the length. The clamp is approximately oval whereas my tubing is circular in cross-section so it's possible to rotate the prop slightly after fitting. This is actually quite useful as it allows me to adjust the angle without undoing the bolts. So far it stays solid enough in use, but if it does start to slip too much it'll be easy to fit a piece of rubber under the clamp for extra grip (eg from an old bike light fitting, or a bit of old tyre tube). What a shame! A missed opportunity
It's good and easy to fit : full marks for that. Unfortunately the prong that rests on the ground is not stout enough. Also the forward position of the prong does not come round far enough. This means the stand only works if the bike is facing uphill or is on the flat .In brief it is far too likely to spring backwards and cause the bike to keel over. Has nobody else noticed that already ? This is a shame. With a little tweaking and thought the product could be a winner.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
