  • Great carry camera

Compact (compared to my Nikon F5 film) camera, lots of features. Photograph and video excelled my expectations. Even on program the results are great. Multitude of settings for experts or good just for novices. It has finally resigned my Nikons to a display cabinet. Pick this up on eBay and you wont be disappointed.

  • Awesome.

Pros: 422/10 + 4K/60. Unbelievable Dual IS. Great price, compact, great lenses (very parfocal like and half size of FF). While no Focus magnification while recording, when using monitor its output is much better then A7III and can be use with GH5´s LCD (A7IIIseries LCD gets off when monitor is plugged). Cons: No AF above 60fps (NTFS/ UHD, or 50 fps in cinematic 24fps true4k) and and no HLG and 10 bit above 60fps/ HD. (So 60/4k is only 8 bit (or 10bit/ HD) unless u r using Atomos Inferno, than you have 422/10, 4K/60) Missing sensor Backlight Illumination.. but it is awesome for night specially with speedboster or 1.7 primes and its usable DoF for night Manual focusing. For video is definetly wiser choice.

  • Great low price brand, the entire Lumix range

I've always used Lumix cameras. As you upgrade from budget to premium the menu and functions are familiar. Very easy to use and handle, compared to an £1850 JVC which I returned a week later

  • The H stands for Hybrid.

This is definitely not a Point and Shoot camera. It is for people who spend at least 50% of their time making videos and you need to be aware of what Micro Four Thirds actually means. It is capable of taking some very nice photos and is especially useful for travel photography as the camera and lenses are significantly smaller than the DSLR equivalent. It is also capable of recording some mind boggling high definition videos

  • Fab Camera

I bought this unit to shoot B-Roll footage alongside my main video camera (also a Panasonic). I was so impressed with it that I have started taking it out with me to shoot stills (I already have some top Nikons such as the D5 and the D810 as I do this for a living). I love almost everything about the camera; the only thing it does not excel at is low light performance. That said, if I need low light stuff, I would take the D5 along. But for family stuff and of course video, hard to beat.

  • Brilliant piece of kit

Fantastic camera. On the surface easy to use out of the box but many professional settings available. Great for both still pictures and amazing for video

  • Great camera but the menu is not for the faint hearted!

Great camera but the menu is not for the faint hearted! The 12 -6mm lens supplied as a package is not the best. Its manual zoom only. I would recommend that you buy the body on its own and buy a better grade of Panasonic powered zoom lens.

  • My lovely GH5!

Writing this review after 2 years of using the camera. Amazing product. It has some scratches already, some cover are moving out but which camera is not doing this in time. Thank you!

  • Our favourite camera

This camera is what we expected. One of the best quality of the image in the class, two slots, 4k in 60fps, body stabilization... What could you want more for this money? :)
