Average Thermometer, if you spend more money you could probably get a better one.
Its a little slow in turning on after its been sitting for a while. The infrared head scan comes up about .4 degree's always lower than putting it in you ear. So if you get this unit I would recommend users to check temp by ear for a truly accurate reading. It maybe hard to stick in a smaller babies ear due to the size of the ear nozzle. It was $20 to $25 dollars cheaper than the next recommended Head and Ear thermometer that was recommended on several consumer sites.
