    Good but very hard to connect to top box

    I bought a V56 monokey top box to replace the E46 on my Honda SH 350 which was monolock. I bought the standard monokey rack first but couldn't line up any of the holes on the bike rack and was faced with making up an adaptor plate as I couldnt find any anywhere to buy one. I didn't realise they made a universal monokey rack just like the monolok one l had until I chanced upon the E215 on ebay, I just thought they were made differently, so buying this enabled me to bolt it straight on using the same holes as before. One thing l wasn't pleased with is that the standard monokey plate I bought first clipped nicely onto the box but this one just wouldn't attach no matter how hard l pressed and this was trying with the rack both on and off the bike in case it wasnt sitting dead flat. The only way I could get it to connect (and that was extremely tight) was to remove the four rubber cushion bungs. I assume it will wear with use and I can add them later

    Givi quality at a great price

    Been using Givi/Kappa luggage for a few years and never had a problem. Purchased a new BMW F800GT a few years ago and had to buy the 28litre topcase as an extra, panniers come standard! Good quality but £400 and very small, only used it for a few months. Upgraded to a 52litre Trekker, specific plate, top rack, liner and backrest which cost less than the BMW box. Superb! My day to day bike is somewhat smaller so I purchased this plate, fitted it in 30 minutes. Good value for Givi quality. A bit of overkill and even at the reasonable prices paid the box cost more than the bike!

    Does what it says on the tin.... buy with confidence.

    Have used Givi products for over thirty years and transfer my luggage from bike to bike. Easy to fit if you are competent with a set of spanners. The painted finish on some of their PL series pannier rails could be better and is not up to the standard of Hepco and Becker although Givi does cover a wider range of machines.

    Solid and neat.

    This is the universal Givi plate for all the monokey top boxes, which should fit on generic bike racks. It it’s made of a very hard abs plastic, but looks and feels heavy and solid. I haven’t fitted it yet but it will definitely be corrosion free, neat and looks strong enough for the rated 10kgs the top box itself is rated to carry.
