Lightweight, Compact, Competitively priced!
Brilliant product! well designed and manufactured, easy to use and programme. The light is very even, balance, cycle time quick. The flash is very competitively priced, and frankly, I prefer it over other 'branded' flash guns from some of the more better known makes. Great job! Thanks.

Good value Package
Good value package for Godox products. Trigger supplied was a better spec than the item displayed in the product picture (XT2 instead of XT1) Items well packed with courier delivering included in price. Pleased with the flash units, I own other Godox flash units and they work well with my existing equipment. Godox are a good value reliable brand.

I was a little concerned about buying a kit, where she some of the accessories / products are badly made. Pocket light for professional photographers

Good intermediate electronic flash intermediate between a speedlight and a monolight
This is my second Godox AD200. I have been using my first one for a couple of years and already have most of the heads and light modifiers. The 200 Ws power rating of this unit is honest, not overinflated like in most of the monolights made in China. The xenon tubes in the speedlight-style head is quite small for a 200 Ws unit and there might be long-term issues with durability, but so far the tubes hold out well with minimal blackening of the glass around the electrodes, and the tubes are not so expensive to replace. There is a newer speedlight-style head with a round window that seems better and uses the same helical tube as the naked-tube head. Repeatability at a given power setting is good, and TTL exposure works well with Olympus and Sony cameras. My only issue with TTL is that I was never able to make my X1T-S radio master work. My XPro-S and X1T-O radio masters work faultlessly. I was also unable to update the firmware in my X1T-S master on three different Windows 10 machines, so my X1T-S is still just a dud. There is an AD 200 Pro model, which is supposed to provide a better color temperature control at low power but costs quite a bit more than the AD 200. For my use, I do not notice significant color shifts in real-world conditions. There are plenty of light modifiers available, all with proprietary attachments and much smaller and lightweight than those typical for studio monolights. This makes an AD 200-based kit much lighter and more easily transported than a typical studio strobe. The 200 Ws power is at the low end of studio monolights (I use units up to 1,500 Ws), but at the high end of speedlights. In fact, I use a speedlight only when I absolutely cannot carry an AD 200 in my backpack (e.g. in carry-on luggage on intercontinental flights), because the AD 200 is otherwise a far better alternative. As far as I know, there is no battery eliminator for the AD200, and the battery is expensive. These are my only real complaints about the AD200. It would be convenient to power it from mains for studio work, or to be able to use a battery pack that accepts third-party AA or 18650 batteries.

Incredible light output for the form factor
This is so much more powerful than a speedlight, recycle time is fast (even at full power) It is the one in my bag when we go shooting a wedding, or for that matter in peoples homes. We even use it in the studio as it is so light and versatile...

Godox AD200.
What a tool this is. I can highly recommend this flash to anyone who has an interest in flash photography. I prefer using this to the speedlite flash guns that I’ve been using for a few years. Together with my speedlites it give huge flexibility when outdoors and is so light and portable. Light consistently is even and with high speed shooting still retains great recycling times. Beautiful thing is with these Godox units I can use it with the Canon or Fuji cameras with only the need for a separate remote unit. I have X1T for canon and Fuji, which make buying into the Godox range an easy and affordable option. BUY ONE, you won’t regret it.

Godox AD200 + AD-B2
Ive now used these 2 flash heads on 2 weddings and so far have been great. Ive used them one at a time on the bride and groom shots and used both of them either side of the group shots. For the group shots they have been on TTL and been perfect. Ive also used both of them on a fashion shoot with the AD-B2 on TTL and they have worked great. I used to have the Good AD360s but I now use these all the time on location as they are just as powerful, more compact and much easier to use.
