Gives a wonderful soothing light and takes up little room.
I put the lamp together myself in a very short time. The instructions were good thank goodness. I placed the lamp behind my piano to give me extra light in a dark corner. I must say the light is wonderful just like daylight and there is also a dimmer switch. The base is heavy and hold the lamp in position. It is very easy to adjust the position of the light. Not dimmable
The lamp is of good quality, however, when putting it together the connections failed to light one lamp. After disconnecting it and reconnecting both lamps lit. Calling the lamp “dimmable” is slightly misleading as in fact you can have one or two lamps on there is no dimmer switch. The base is heavy but smaller than many so will fit into a tighter space although not under a low sofa. The goose neck does not allow the lamp to go low enough by a sofa to fulfil the instruction of having it below eye level this causes me to get reflection off my glasses. It is however a very bright and useful light for reading and close work on these dreary days.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not truly "Dimmable".
