The Dublo of Basildon
G&R Wrenn of Basildon may be remembered for it's manufacture of the Mecanno-based ex-Hornby Dublo model railway things following the demise of the latter in 1964. Most of it continued into 1992 when Wrenn ceased trading. Most of the models were fictitious and toy-like while some do or almost certainly represent reality. The best buys of the Wrenn wagons are that of the "improved" Period 3 that do or almost represent reality while Period 4 are rarer much more collectable and more expensive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
