Definitely helps get rid of the knots!
I have very dry and damaged type 3A naturally curly hair. My hair gets really knotty and is impossible to get a comb or brush through when wet even with conditioner on, but this stuff is awesome! I only need a small amount (about the size of a pound coin, my hair is past shoulder length) and I work it through my hair from the tips to the roots, raking my hair with my fingers, I then comp through with a Bestool brush...works like magic! The only problem is that if you use too much it is very heavy on the hair, and if you have fine hair like mine, try to avoid getting too much on the roots or it will weigh down your hair. Other than that, wonderful stuff. I was dubious about trying this because of the price, but it is well worth the money to get rid of my knots.
