A bit less sophisticated than I'd hoped for.
It's neat installation with just the desktop switch being on show if you want a minimalist look and it's a load easier than switching video inputs and unplugging keyboard and mouse. However... this does disconnect the monitor keyboard and mouse from the inactive device unlike the bigger metal StarTech units I have used in the past, so you're effectively plugging it all in and out when you switch. I wasn't after controlling the two simultaneously (just wanted to park the session) but when you lose the monitor on a dual-screen laptop setup, it all jiggles around. Luckily Win 10 seems okay with this and it doesn't crash out, even if the windows get messed up. Also worth noting it doesn't work at all well with Logitech Unifying (USB) receivers, so I'm back on a corded mouse. I picked this unit up at low cost, so I'm okay with that, but if I paid full, then I'd be disappointed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
