Performs well
Bought this to connect corsair h90 to my asus strix gtx970. Once the gpu was stripped down fitting the nzxt mounting brackets was simple, 4 screws and washers through the back of the card in to the respective holes on the brackets, Aio pump does not attach to nzxt plate rather the two are married with a series of lugs on the plate, meaning the two need to be held together under hand tension whilst aligning the plate and pump over the holes of the previously installed pair of mounting brackets, once situated its just 4 more screws and washers. With a little care its pretty simple. Dont forget to reapply thermal paste before fitting! I did not install the included fan, as the components requiring fan cooling are located at the i/o end of the pcb and nzxt plate locates the fan on the opposite side of the die to this, in the end I mounted the original strix fans and shroud to the g12 plate and created a custom hybrid cooler. After reinstalling in pc gpu temp levelled out at 45c after an hour of running unigine valley, a reduction of app 25c over the original stock cooler. The nzxt g12 is well manufactured in terms of mounting assembly, the only imperfection being one end of the plate was not cut cleanly across the sheet in a linear fashion but snaking across with a total deviation of app 3mm, though it has to said, this makes no difference to its operation and would likely not be noticeable unless you were looking closely an on many cards would not even be visible once installed in the system.
