Definitely a great microphone
The sound captured by this microphone is outstanding. I've used it through several different pre-amps (tube and solid state) and have been delighted by it's sound. Only complaint is the knob for multi-pattern settings is very difficult to use as it is recessed and hard to get a grasp of and especially difficult when mounted in the shock mount. BTW - The shock mount is not my favorite as it needs to be pretty tight to support the weigh of this mic and I find (depending on the angle) that it often times won't tighten enough for that purpose. Overall though, this mic really is a great vocal mic. One word of advice with it though, be sure you find the sweet spot when placing the mic, once you do the sound is amazing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
