Due to its digital night-vision system, the device is great for both day and night operation. Additionally, the monocular has a built-in infrared illuminator with automatic adjustment. Its display has a lot of useful functions, such as selectable text color and brightness, and front objective focus image. The device runs on four user-supplied AA batteries and has an auto-off function. Excellent
The iGen NV20/20 is excellent !!! It's almost like daytime. The control's are easy to use and it took me about 3 minutes to get the hang of it. It is kind of a strange shape, but once you get used to the feel of it it's no prob. I find that if you screw on a little handle to the tripod screw then it's more comfortable to hold, but don't let that deter you from buying one because this thing really does work.
