    Good for the money

I purchased this for use as a spotting scope for long range rifle. I works pretty well for the money. The eye relief isn't great but is usable. When the scope is nearing the max 75x magnification setting I couldn't get it to focus clearly which would be expected for this price point. I used it out to 1000yrd and could easily see the splash on the steel targets. The lowest setting 25x zoom was still a little strong to watch trace as the rounds impact the target. If that was your goal you might want to get something with less magnification. Overall it performed better than I expected.

Okay for 100yd sight in, not a long range scope

Took this scope out to the range. The tripod work marginally well, if set on on a bench by itself, then don't touch anything...jittery while you adjust the settings. Works well out to about 100yds. Image is fairly bright and a slow focusing controller lets you define .22 holes quite readily. Going up to 75 power reduces image quality. Perhaps it was that the 200yd. target had come into shadow, but image was too gray to focus in on hits. 75 power became useless, focal clarity lost any sharpness it had at closer ranges. The focus knob had a very narrow band where the subject could almost come into clarity, but not quite. Will try again another brighter day.

  • Super compact and flexible!

Good magnification with supplied zoom. View clearness is greatly improved if using quality non-zoom eyepieces and the supplied eyepiece-adapter. Tripod works OK but are all plastic.

  • Scope-OK; needs better tripod.

This scope was adequate for use at 100 yards. Once I was used to the controls, I was able to see holes in a target with no trouble. The tripod supplied with the unit is not very stable. This was the same complaint stated in other reviews. I found attaching the scope to a taller tripod was more stable. You get what you pay for. This scope will work for my purposes.

  • C70 MINI MAK

Definitely a great product, compact, easy to use, it is great for looking into space at night, daytime viewing is great. The only issue is_ the further you are away from the object the hazier it becomes through the lense, it's perfect for up to 500 metres, after that it definitely loses strength, which is a shame, but for the price we are very happy with it, for a beginner or random use I highly recommend it...

  • Crumby tripod

After the first use at the firing range, I knew I would need to replace the tripod. Was a breezy day and lots of motion made it difficult to use due to excessive motion on scope. Tried again with the added expense of $35 for a better tripod. Disappointed with the difficulty of making out the accuracy of my .22cal shots at 50 yards or more. Trying to save money sometimes is just not worth it

  • Very good

Bought it to use as a spotting scope at 200 yards. But this is capable of spotting out to 500 yards easily. I performed an alignment known as a collimation which helped sharpen the image. I am picky and cheap. This product met my expectations.

Just what I wanted at a great price. The tripod is more than expected too. I use it at the shooting range.

Intriguing option to use a small and light Mak "telescope" as a spotting scope. Being able to change the lens is a big advantage over tradition spotting scopes. The adapter is included.

  • Great little scope

Needed a spotting scope for close range 50 to 100 yds. Works great, the tripod is worthless but I bought a good one.
