Best bass drum mic!
I've tried them all and this is the best bass drum microphone (for a rock cover band) under $250. I have 2 of them and they sound fantastic in my IEM and just thunderous through FOH. Sound engineers just love it and have not needed to double mic for any venue. I use the mic with the Kelly Shu Flatz e901 shock mount system and it's perfect!

won't fit in 4" kick drum ports.
It sounds great but I can't always get it to work with every drum. Touring guys beware the backline kit with 4" ports. You will be up a creek.

Sounds terrible. It makes a bass drum sound like an electronic drum with absolutely no warmth. I wonder if i was sold a defective one?
